The Humble Shed - Construction in 2021

The clients need a shop to tinker and an office to work. We designed a simple cube and carved away at the entry zones where the exterior cladding changes from simple lap-siding to a warmer natural tone. The lower level is divided into halves. One side is double height to allow for docking of the Star-Wagon, a fully out-fitted adventure machine. The other side is a motorcycle and bicycle repair and maintenance shop. The upper level is studio for photography and graphic art. And outdoor shower and composting toilet on the upper level porch serve the mechanic and fire-side chat life style.
